Bigg Boss Winner Elvish Yadav Sent to Judicial Custody in Snake Venom Case

Noida, Uttar Pradesh: YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav was sent to 14-day judicial custody on Sunday, March 17, 2024, by the Noida Police. Yadav is accused of involvement in acquiring snake venom for use at a rave party held last November.

The Noida Police raided a banquet hall in Sector 51 on November 3rd, 2023, where the rave party was taking place. Five people, including four snake charmers, were arrested at the scene. Authorities seized nine snakes and venom during the raid.

According to police reports, the investigation linked Yadav to the party through the arrested individuals. They allege he played a role in facilitating the acquisition of snake venom, a dangerous and illegal substance sometimes used as a recreational drug.

Yadav has previously denied all involvement in the case. He is expected to face charges under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, for possessing and supplying protected wildlife products. The case could also involve additional charges depending on the details of the investigation.
