CUET-PG 2024 Schedule Released: Exam Dates, Subjects, Marking Scheme

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the much-awaited subject-wise schedule for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) 2024. Here’s a breakdown of the key details:

Exam Dates: March 11 – March 28, 2024 Mode of Exam: Online Locations: Across India and 24 cities abroad Paper Duration: 105 minutes Number of Questions: 75

Subject Options: Students can choose a maximum of four question papers from 157 subjects offered across diverse domains like BEd, MEd, Commerce, Finance, Management, Science, MTech Higher Science, and more. The complete syllabus is available on the NTA/ Samarth website:

Exam Medium: English and Hindi (Bilingual) for most subjects. Exceptions include:

  • Languages: Conducted in the respective language, except for Linguistics (English)
  • MTech/Higher Sciences: English only
  • Acharya Papers: Sanskrit, except for Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System, and Baudha Darshan (English)

Marking Scheme:

  • Each question carries four marks.
  • Four marks awarded for a correct answer.
  • One mark deducted for an incorrect answer.
  • No penalty for unattempted questions.

Important Notes:

  • Only one option can be chosen as the answer. However, marks will be awarded for questions with multiple correct options or revised answer keys, provided the candidate chooses the correct option as per the final revision.
  • Full marks will be awarded to all candidates for questions dropped due to technical errors, regardless of whether they attempted it or not.

Registration Stats:

  • Overall registrations have slightly increased from 4.5 lakh last year to 4.6 lakh this year.
  • Similar to last year, female registrations (2,47,990) surpass male registrations (214,587).
