Hollywood Actor Christian Oliver, His Two Daughters Killed in Tragic Plane Crash

Los Angeles, Jan 6, 2024: German-born Hollywood actor Christian Oliver and his two young daughters tragically lost their lives when their small plane crashed into the Caribbean Sea shortly after takeoff, according to local police.

Oliver, known for his roles in films such as The Good German alongside George Clooney and Speed Racer in 2008, was aboard a privately owned, single-engine aircraft when the accident occurred on Thursday, as confirmed by the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.

Following the crash, fishermen, divers, and the coast guard promptly responded to the scene and recovered four bodies.

The victims of the crash were identified as Oliver, 51, his daughters Madita, 10, and Annik, 12, and pilot Robert Sachs.

The ill-fated flight was en route from Bequia, a small island in the Grenadines, to St Lucia, taking place shortly after midday on Thursday.

Based on Oliver’s recent Instagram post, it appeared that the family was on vacation, as he shared an image of a tropical beach with the caption: “Greetings from somewhere in paradise! To community and love… 2024 [here] we come!”

Christian Oliver, originally named Christian Klepser, had an extensive career with over 60 movie and TV credits, including a minor role in the Tom Cruise film Valkyrie.

During the early stages of his career, Oliver appeared in TV series Saved by the Bell: The New Class and the movie The Babysitters Club.

In his home country of Germany, Oliver gained fame for his two-season stint in the popular cop show Alarm fur Cobra 11.
