IIMC Admissions 2024-25: Journalism Courses’ Application Process Begins

New Delhi, Jan 5, 2024: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is now accepting applications for their journalism, advertising, and public relations courses for the academic year 2024-25. If you’re interested and eligible, you can find all the details on the official institute website. But hurry up, as the last date to apply is January 24, 2024!

How to Apply

First things first, you need to visit the website http://cuet.nta.nic.in to access the online application form and information bulletin. Before you fill out the form, you have to register. Once you’re registered, you can go ahead and complete the application form.

IIMC Admissions 2024-25: Who Can Apply?

If you have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, you’re eligible to apply for these courses. Even if you’re in your final year or semester of your Bachelor’s degree, you can still apply. Just make sure to provide your provisional marksheet or certificate from your college or university by September 30, 2024. Once you complete the course, you’ll receive a Diploma degree, but only if you submit your Original Degree Certificate.

IIMC Admissions 2024-25: Age Limit

For all you eager learners out there, there’s an age limit to keep in mind. If you belong to the general category, you should be no older than 25 years. If you’re from the OBC category, your date of birth should be no later than August 2024, making you 28 years old. And for SC/ST/PwD candidates, the maximum age is 30 years.

IIMC Admissions 2024-25: Important Information

In the CUET (PG) information booklet, IIMC’s courses are grouped under the Common category, and the question paper code is COQP17. However, if you’re interested in the language courses – PG Diploma Courses in Journalism (Odia, Marathi, Malayalam, and Urdu) – there will be a separate entrance examination.
