NEET Super Speciality Counselling 2023: Round 2 Reporting Extended till January 5

New Delhi, Jan 2, 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the reporting date for National Eligibility Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2023 Counselling round 2 until January 5. This means you have more time to report to your allotted institute.

Why the extension?

A lot of candidates requested more time to report for Round 2 of NEET SS Counselling. The competent authority granted the extension in response to the requests. So now, you have until 6pm on January 5, 2024, to complete your reporting process.

What documents do you need?

When you go for reporting, make sure you have these important documents with you:

  • Provisional allotment letter from MCC
  • Admit card issued by NBE
  • Result or rank letter from NBE
  • MBBS degree certificate or provisional certificate
  • MD, MS, DNB degree certificate in the relevant speciality
  • A permanent registration certificate for MBBS, MS, or DNB issued by MCI or NBE or state medical council
  • If you’re completing your post-graduation by September 30, 2023, you can apply with a provisional certificate
  • High school or higher secondary certificates or a birth certificate as evidence of your date of birth
  • A valid ID, such as a PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, or Aadhaar Card
Important dates for NEET SS to remember

Round 2 registration started on December 18 and ended on December 21, 2023. The seat allotment process took place on December 22, and the results were announced on December 23, 2023. So, make sure you mark these dates on your calendar!

Don’t miss the deadline!

If you’ve been allotted a seat in the second round, it’s super important to report to your designated institute by the extended deadline. If you don’t, you’ll lose the seat that was allocated to you. So don’t forget to show up on time!
