Noida Police Interrogates Elvish Yadav in Snake Venom Case

Noida, Nov 08: Youtuber Elvish Yadav was questioned by the Noida Police on Wednesday morning regarding the suspected use of snake venom at a party, according to officials.

Yadav, who won the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2, was one of the individuals named in the FIR filed last week under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.

A senior officer from the Noida Police, who requested anonymity, stated that Yadav cooperated with the investigation.

He arrived at the police station around 11:30 pm on Tuesday and was questioned for approximately two hours before being released.

The officer added that Elvish Yadav will be summoned again for further questioning.

The police have already requested custody of the five individuals who were arrested in connection with the case. These people were arrested on November 3 at a banquet hall in Sector 51, where nine snakes, including five cobras, were rescued from their possession.

Additionally, 20 ml of suspected snake venom was seized.

However, the police clarified that Yadav was not present at the party venue, and they are investigating his involvement in the use of snake venom as a recreational drug, which was exposed by the animal rights group PFA (People for Animals).
