The collaboration introduces the Tata Communications GlobalRapide platform, designed to empower both Indian and multinational enterprises operating in the country with seamless PSTN voice calling capabilities on Microsoft Teams devices worldwide, leveraging the Operator Connect platform.

This strategic partnership leverages Tata Communications’ extensive global reach spanning over 190 countries and partnerships with over 700 mobile network operators, ensuring regulatory compliant cloud calling and audio-conferencing capabilities.

Key Highlights of the Collaboration:

  1. Enhanced Flexibility: Indian enterprises and multinational corporations operating in India will now enjoy unparalleled flexibility in making and receiving carrier-grade PSTN voice calls on any Microsoft Teams device, regardless of location.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: The GlobalRapide platform is engineered to comply with local market regulations, providing robust fraud prevention capabilities and ensuring secure collaboration across the global value chain.
  3. Managed Services Layer: The platform offers end-to-end managed services for Teams deployment, onboarding, and management, along with endpoint devices and session border controllers (SBCs). This consolidated approach enhances usability, security, and regulatory compliance on a single platform, streamlining Teams platform management without incurring additional hardware costs.
