Team India’s T20 World Cup Jersey Leaked on Social Media?

With the T20 World Cup just around the corner, excitement is building for the Indian cricket team. However, a potential leak has overshadowed some of that anticipation. Images of what appears to be India’s new T20 World Cup jersey are circulating widely on social media.

The leaked photos show a v-necked jersey featuring tri-color stripes and the traditional Adidas three stripes on the saffron sleeves. This isn’t the first time the Indian team’s kit has been leaked online, raising concerns as official jersey reveals are usually a well-orchestrated event.

Squad Announced, But Questions Remain:

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently confirmed the much-awaited 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup, along with four reserve players. The selection saw the return of Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yuzvendra Chahal, while established names like KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and Shubman Gill were left out. Notably, Rinku Singh’s omission was a surprise for many fans.

Another talking point is the bowling attack. India opted for just three seamers – Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Arshdeep Singh – while selecting four spinners: Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav.

Captain Rohit Sharma is expected to address the media soon, potentially explaining the selection decisions, including the rationale behind the spin-heavy attack and the omissions of some prominent players.
